What am I seeing?
  • The deflected shape is the double integral of M/EI, so stiffness EI directly scales every deflection.
  • Classic anchors: 5wL⁴/384EI for a full UDL, PL³/48EI for a central point load, PL³/3EI at a cantilever tip.
  • Slope is zero where deflection peaks, and zero at a fixed support by definition.
